Have you heard about the Holiday Train? For the past few years I had heard about it on the news and had wanted to see what it was all about. However the arrival time for Lacrosse has always been so late (9:15 pm this year) and we live an hour south so not very doable with little ones. So when a post on a friends facebook page came a crossed my news feed that it was going to be stopping in Marquette, IA at 5:15 I knew this year I was going to make it work :) And I am so Glad I did! The kids had a blast. The "WOW" from my littlest one was so cute. The train looked so magical decorated with all the lights and the band was wonderful! The temps were -8 last night but we bundled up and danced along with the music to stay warm. It was a lot of fun.We will defiantly be making this a new family traditions. About the Holiday Train Making a difference, one stop at a time The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train hits the rails again on November 25 and will be visiting over 150 communities across our network. Each event features a boxcar stage, a lineup of great musical talent and a contribution to the local food bank. Everyone who attends is encouraged to donate food and money which stays in their community.
